We are happy to announce the re-opening of our live department / booking agency, featuring artists from Portugal and abroad, represented for a variety of territories via our domestic and international booking teams.
Most of the artists on our roster come from our Label & Publisher catalogues, meaning that we take a vested interest in all aspects of artist development and the furthering of their careers at home and abroad.
From first-rank Folk Songwriters such as A Cantadeira, Joana Alegre and João Afonso, who all have new albums coming in 2026, to innovative players like O Gajo (represented outside of Portugal only) and RAIA, experimenting and furthering the reach of traditional instruments like the Viola Campaniça, SCL-Lusitanian is also home to artist collectives like Lusitanian Ghosts and Wanderer Songs – available to festivals and larger venues given the special nature of the shows presented: Lusitanian Ghosts recently performed live with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, bringing together traditional folk violas, the popular chordophones of Portugal, with the grandiose sounds of the OML with Maestro Rui Ribeiro conducting.
There is a rock n roll heart within our agency, not just with Lusitanian Ghosts but also with the new international project The Sideshows, featuring Rich Ragany, Sami Yaffa and Simon Maxwell – their debut album is coming in 2026!
